- Transatlantic Television is equally comfortable and knowledgeable in the unscripted world as it is in the scripted world. In fact the job that bought Crispin to America nearly 20 years ago was as Head of Development for September Films, specialists in factual entertainment. While at September, Crispin devised and sold unscripted shows to Fox, Lifetime and Sky.
- Prior to that in the UK Crispin was a commissioning editor for Channel 4 where he developed two new quiz series (with Monkey Kingdom and Endemol), one of which transferred to the US. Crispin has created and sold multiple comedy and entertainment formats to ITV and Channel 5. Notably, he produced several seasons of the critically acclaimed comedy talk show, THE PEOPLE VS JERRY SADOWITZ.
- In America, Crispin developed I BET YOU for the Mojo Network and was a producer on CELEBRITY POKER SHOWDOWN for Bravo. He is currently producing a social media quiz, BEAT BUZZY, featuring Jeopardy champion Buzzy Cohen. He has devised and put multiple shows into development with US and UK production companies including AMERICAN GEEK , a competition series he created for British scientist Brian Cox MBE; the docuseries TOP SHELF about the world of bourbon hunting; and SIX DEGREES, a social experiment game.
